The court rejects everything - motions and documents - for the sake of keeping Khadija on trial
Lawyer Fariz Namazli provided the court with documents from the National TeleRadio Committee, Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies indicating the exact date Azadliq Radiosu local bureau was granted rights for its radio short waves.
The document shows the FM station was valid until January 1, 2009.
In the documents presented by the court however, this date is indicated as September 2008.
"The documents we tried presenting in court today proved the court had wrong dates. But the court refused to accept it" said Fariz Namazli in an interview shortly after the hearing.
Today during the hearing defense lawyers filed several motions. One of the motions requested that the court invites Adil Ismayilov who officially represents Azadliq Radiosu in an open criminal case against the radio.
The lawyers asked the judge that Ismayilov comes to the court to address the questions in the case that are directly linked to the radio and its work. However the court dismissed this motion arguing raised questions had nothing to do with the radio and were all related to charges against Khadija Ismayilova.
